I. Death
If Death came for you now
Would you be afraid?
Or would you rejoice
At the release from the pain?
II. Beautiful Words
Beautiful words strike deep
Make the soul weep
And mind die of heat
As the heart wildly beats
III. Harmonic Rave
Feet stomping, head bopping
Dancing in place in a rave
Surrounded by pressing bodies
Harmony reached through music
Will it last forever, the feeling
Of oneness with all around you?
Don’t count on it as the music ends
And the bodies drift away again
Leaving you alone once more
Hungering for more of the same
Keeping you hooked to the rave
For the harmony and release it brings.
IV. Darkness
Mind in ruins, heart empty on the floor
Body lying cold in a darkened room
Dreams of light turning to nightmares
Look into black eyes consumed by misery
Wordless screams echo through the void
Facing despair, voices lost in silence
Feet pumping in vain attempts at escape
The darkness presses in without remorse
The soul gives in, held in thrall by fear
Held by the fear of Darkness.

Just random bits and pieces that appeared from my mind, out of the blue and for no rhyme or reason, but seem rather complete and yet incomplete at the same time.
Death came about when I was being philosophic about what most people would feel towards death and the ending of our lives and discussing it with a few friends.
Beautiful Words popped up out of nowhere when I was commenting on a poem composed by Iba [aka ~school]. It was typed down in a comment left at [link] and it kinda felt appropriate at the time. I editted it a while later and added it to the list of "Bits N Pieces II" .
Harmonic Rave was written a very long while ago after a night of heavy partying and as way to mark the occassion of my first attendance at a rave [a very strange one that played hi-tempo metal and hip-hop in addition to the usual electronica, techno & rave music]. My friend Annabelle gave me the idea for it and I'd been keeping it stored away in my notebooks hidden in my table cupboard since its composition.
Darkness was just something that came to me while trying to compose lyrics for my new band [Paperbag Theory] to play around with. It originally started off as something else entirely and evolved into the supposedly finished product seen here [it doesn't feel finished to me for some reason].
I hope all who read this one enjoy it as well as all those who enjoyed the first version [Bits N Pieces I [link] ], who I hope enjoy it just as much as they did the first version.
So, without further ado, VINzanity Produxions Inc presents "Bits N Pieces II" !!!

I like this dude...in fact I like both of your bits and pieces because.. I dunno ... it seems like you put them in a particular order and they comlement each other. Thats a rare talent believe me. I would drop the first the in the last line of Death . I wish I could write like you did in Beautiful Words It seems doleful yet not angsty at the same time. Harmonic Rave isn't really my sort of thing yet it easy to see how well written it is and the imagery you create is awesome. Darkness just rocks major style
